CRUSE has two songs about being strong and independent for you this Fourth of July.  Very different yet both are about fighting the war with LOVE.

AND then you'll find our cover of the 1976 Wonder Woman TV show theme song on our site.  Brad & I both continue to have loads of admiration for the lovely Lynda Carter.  Seriously, have you seen what aging gracefully can actually look like?

Some of you may already know the inspiration for the original comic book character was a Queer woman named Mary Olive Byrne.  Writer William Marston and his wife Elizabeth “Sadie” Holloway were in a poly, somewhat BDSM, relationship with her way back in the 1940s.  They lived as a throuple until William died in 1947 and then as a couple ‘til death did the women part in 1990.  Wonder Woman was their collaborative brain baby though both women also had actual babies with William.  I do love thinking about how one of the most iconic All-American superheroes was born out of feminism and unconventional love.  Super powers!
